Drone kit protection

Drone case foam inserts for complete flight kits.

Drone kits usually contain more than one fragile item: the aircraft, controller, batteries, charger, propellers, cables, filters, and small tools all need fixed positions. A custom drone case foam insert keeps the kit organized and reduces movement during transport, field service, rental use, or distributor sample shipping.

Drone Case Foam Inserts

Capabilities

  • Cavities for drone bodies, controllers, batteries, chargers, and accessories
  • Layered EVA or PE foam for hard shell cases
  • Finger cutouts, stepped pockets, and removable sections
  • Prototype-friendly CNC cutting before batch production

Layout planning

The best drone case foam layout starts with the case inner size and the full kit list. Batteries should be easy to count and remove, propellers need protected slots, and cable cavities should avoid pushing into the lid. For compact cases, stepped cavities and layered foam help use depth efficiently.

Material choice

EVA and PE foam are common choices for drone hard cases because they hold clean edges and support repeated handling. Softer lid foam can add gentle top pressure. If the kit is used outdoors, closed-cell materials are usually more practical than soft open-cell cushioning.

RFQ details

Send the drone model, product dimensions, case inner length, width, and depth, quantity, preferred color, and a photo of the desired arrangement. If accessories may change later, tell us which cavities should stay flexible.

Can you make foam for a specific drone model?

Yes. Send dimensions, photos, or a sample layout for the drone, controller, batteries, and accessories.

Can the insert fit a Pelican-style hard case?

Yes. We need the exact inner case dimensions and lid clearance.

Can you make a prototype first?

Yes. CNC-cut samples are suitable for checking fit before repeat production.

RFQ checklist

Send dimensions, case size, material target, and quantity.

Photos, drawings, and product weight help us recommend foam type, cavity design, and a practical sample route.
